Due dates dont mean squat !

So my due date came and went, and I sit here eating my words. Because i truley in my heart of hearts thought this little meatball was coming early. I even had to doctors tell me , they thought she was coming early. I now sit here and listne to all the "I told you so's" from the know it all family members and friends who seem to have an opinion on all that I do. I have been in St. louis for the last 3 months and I have had many good thing to say about this town. Its been over 20 years since I lived here, and I must say I am so thankful to have had this opportunity to be here during this change of weather. The leaves are changing , the weather is perfect and I am living in this sweet little place that is within walking distance to the coolest antique stores, resturants and small little shops.

My husband have been really loving being here. We hang with my Paup  ( Grandfather) a few times a week and bring him dinner usually one night, he lets us do our laundry and we just hang out. I relish these days and waves of memories and childhood memories wash over me periodically and I have to thank God for how blessed I am to have these moments with him.

We swap stories about the chickens in the backyard, my pet rabbits, my pet chickens, me putting the chickens in the fireplace in the summer and that was there home, my grandpa brining in the our horse through the house just to annoy my grandpa, all those things that make you laugh. My picking greenbeans with my Grandma Mimi and canning all the veggies.

What are the family traditions will I create for our family. I have some that I know that I will want to implement and some that I will carry over from my Grandparents.
